Saucy Strumpets Make Good Spices

I touch my tongue slightly below my lip
Nibble at the hot tip
Topping the mounds
Dripping
Stains of desire
On my shirt
I reach for it
Pulling it in towards my mouth
The throbbing feeling of taking it in too soon
All too hot
I want more
Light whispers of breath
“Don’t forget the tip.”
He says
It is not enough
How I adore
When the pizza man comes to my door

Love the poetry - looking forward to reading more. Intelligent comments on that later.
Wanted to leave a comment on your comment about the artwork of M. Mararian and William Blake, and trying not to sound condescending.
Have you seen Blake's own illustrations for "Innocence and Experience"? If not, track them down - vastly different than you might think. If yes, would love to know why you think Blake would have liked Mararian's work - I personally haven't seen the point beyond shock value, and I've looked at most of his website as well. Would like to know what you see that I don't.

Hi Nikita, thank you for reading, I am glad you enjoyed my poems. I tried to click your name to contact you but it was a dead link so I will respond to you here. Yes, I have seen the illustrations I have many of them accompanied by the text of "Songs of Innocence and Experience." I do not enjoy those pictures, I feel that Maraian's work would bring out more of the darkness and hopelessness in the poems of experience.

They are more than just shock value drawings there is a message there. Not everyone’s childhood are rainbows and sunshine, some face a very hard childhood, while most may not be as extreme as the pictures depict it does remind you that the innocence of children is becoming extinct. They are about problems children face drawn in the extreme, for example, the drawing of the little girl with the arsenic, the baby approaching the bear trap and the child covered with ants depict children of neglect. Then there are photos of children committing violence against other children or trying to get rid of them as most siblings do when a new child comes into play. There is so much more I can say about this but I hoped this helps you understand my enjoyment of Maraian’s work and maybe help you see it beyond shock value. Sometimes art like this is hard to see beyond what is presented in front of you because it is so dramatic.

I honestly was not even sure that comment was posted let alone people would see it, as there were many comments there. Thanks for tracking me down and visiting my site.
